WE DID IT! Thanks to all of you, we met the end-of-the-Fiscal Year challenge offered to us by Dr. John de la Vega.
Our goal was to match – 2:1 – the generous contribution from Dr. de la Vega. That meant raising $100,000 from the weekend of Carmina Burana through the end of the fiscal year. As of June 30, I am overjoyed to report total donations and pledges to the Challenge of $103,000.
What a marvelous way to finish our “Unstoppable” season! And what a wonderful affirmation that so many of you believe in our goals and aspirations.
Our very special thanks to Dr. de la Vega for providing us with the incentive AND the very generous key gift to begin this effort. We are proud to have been able to live up to the challenge.
And, what is even more exciting is that as we see more and more Season Subscriptions coming in, we are finding an even higher percentage of Subscribers also making a contribution on their order form. Whether toward our General Fund, our Send-a-Child Fund, Scholarships, or other special needs, these new donations help position us for an even more exciting upcoming Season.
